Hawaii : Tourist Hot Spots

Hawaii is world famous for its exotic landscapes,pleasant climate and warm people.The state has innumerable outdoor activities attract tourists from all over the world.Its exotic sunny beaches and other beautiful structures USS Arizona Memorial,National Cemetery of the Pacific and the Bernice P. Bishop Museum in Honolulu are other important attractions.

Honolulu: The city is the palce of delightful diversity of sights, picturesque lovations and cuisine flavors.It is the capital city of Honolulu and is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands.Millions of visitors are drawn annually to Honolulu's mild, semitropical climate and to the beautiful beaches of Waikiki.
  • Iolani Palace: offers an unique glimpse into Hawaii's intriguing history.It is an impressive neo-classical building and has served as the state capitol.
  • Bishop Museum: The museum is considered the finest Polynesian arts museum in the world,offers impressive displays and artifacts on Hawaii's multiethnic history.  
  • Pearl Harbor - USS Arizona Memorial: The memorial is the most visited attractions of US,conjures the images of the dead who drowned aboard the sinking USS "Arizona".visitors can look down at the shallow wreck that became the tomb for 117 sailors.Documentary on attack and a boat ride of memorial can be take inside the memorial tour .At the end of the memorial there is a shrine on which the names of the 1177 victims, including the commander and his deputy, are engraved on a wall of Vermont marble.
  • Honolulu Academy of Arts: It has an impressive collections of Asian,European and Pacific artworks.

Waikiki Beach: Waikiki Beach is the most famous and among popular beaches of Hawaii.Visitors can enjoy different rides of surfboards,boogie boards,kayaks and windsurfing gear at very reasonable prices.It offers impressive warm waters and sandy beaches.

Waikiki Aquarium: An entertaining public aquarium especially for kids.It is third oldest public aquarium and a home for around 2500 animals.

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park: Encompasses an awesome and constantly changing landscapes.It is centered on Kilauea which is the world's most active volcano and the palce is a wonderland of Volcanic sites.

Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park: includes several ancient temples and  a sanctuary. Attractions include the landing place of the royal canoes, the stones on which the royal family played a type of Hawaiian nine men's morris, the Kuuhumanu Stone, a royal fishpond, the Keoua Stone, burial vaults, rock carvings and models of houses belonging to the priests and inhabitants of the City of Refuge.
